Miller Crane Works Inc. is an independent training provider located on the outskirts of Dallas, Texas. Founded in 2010, we provide specialist lifting operation training to the construction industry and other sectors. With over 40 years of experience operating cranes in various applications, our instructors draw from their vast knowledge and history to help you gain the skills necessary for a career as an NCCCO Certified Crane Operator.
Our unique training program allows students to operate all parts of the cane, walking students through setup, boom operation, and LMI systems. Other certification courses limit students to only operating the care portion of the machine. Classes include plenty of practice time in the field – 50% field time and 50% classroom time – as we strive for students to pass their NCCCO examinations on the first attempt. For students that may not pass their practical exam, we offer the option to purchase practice time before taking the practical exam. For students that do not pass the practical exam, we offer a discounted rate – half off – for retakes on the practical exam. Students that do not pass any portion of their written exam are welcome to return to our classroom, free of charge, for additional classroom instruction. We are the only certification program to offer these benefits to students
Miller Crane Works Inc. fully endorses the National Certification Program offered by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) and provides training to prepare candidates for CCO examinations.

Warren Miller
With a career spanning over four decades, Warren Miller's expertise and dedication in the construction industry are unparalleled. Starting in 1978 as a ground man for a prominent Power Line contractor in Dallas, TX, Warren was exposed to the world of cranes from the very beginning. In those early days, safety protocols were not as advanced as they are today, relying on the crew's vigilance and the operator's skills to ensure the safe construction of power lines.
Warren quickly progressed in his career, operating cranes after assisting with structure setups using friction rigs. As the years passed, he mastered the operation of cranes of various sizes, navigating extreme locations and challenging conditions. Impressively, Warren's impeccable record stands untarnished by any accidents throughout his extensive experience. In addition to his crane work, he also owned a trucking company with its own Federal operating Authority, as well as another company serving a major CATV company, handling trunk and service line projects, including new build constructions.
Driven by his passion for high-rise commercial construction, Warren delved into the field and gained invaluable knowledge through involvement in multiple projects. His expertise expanded to include heavy friction rigs, lattice cranes, and tower cranes. Relocating to the Phoenix, AZ area, he assumed the role of Equipment Manager, overseeing all equipment operations for a significant commercial airport project. His profound understanding of crane operations led him to become a NCCCO practical examiner, further solidifying his reputation as a true industry professional.
Today, as the founder of Miller Crane Works, Warren imparts his extensive knowledge and exceptional training skills to each and every student. Drawing from his own experiences and ethical principles, Warren ensures efficient crane operations and instills valuable skills in his students.
