This section introduces the trainee to the basic principles of rigging and competent, safe signaling.

Section 2, Slings. 1 hr

This section shows the techniques and methods you can use to perform a lift and the proper usage of slings.

Section 3, Hitches. .5 hr

This section shows the techniques for the proper usage of rigging and the safety factors for certain kinds of hitches.

Section 4, Rigging Hardware. .5 hrs

This section introduces the fundamentals of rigging, including rigging hardware, wire rope, and the various types of slings and their configurations. It also covers rigging safety, use of tag lines, and load handling for crane operations.

Section 5, Sling Stress. .5 hr
