This course is intended for individuals who are new to crane operations and wish to become Tower Crane Operators. Before taking this course, the candidate must have completed the Mobile Crane Operations Fixed and Swing Level 1 course. The Tower Crane Operations course aims to introduce the students to Tower Crane and its various applications.
The classroom instruction covers a wide range of topics such as potential career paths, load charts, safety procedures, and OSHA requirements. The course also prepares the students for the NCCCO written exam, which is required to become certified as a Tower Crane Operator.
The practical aspects of the course involve field time and simulator training, which prepare the students for the NCCCO practical exam. Passing all NCCCO exams will result in the student being TWR certified, thereby making them eligible for employment as a certified crane operator.

How long Is the Training
Training is a total of 4 days
Classes start Monday Morning at 7AM and run until 5:30
Classes are split into 2 segments each day
from 7AM until 12PM is in class book learning
break for lunch and remaining time is split to hands on training with the crane.
Do I have to take all 4 days?
If you are needing the 40 hour class
Yes the full course of 4 days in class is needed, we do offer a 20 hour class for those who feel they may need shorter time but may have ability to pass a practical test.
what do I get when finished
After passing the NCCCO test you will be NCCCO certified for 5 years
The TWR certification after practicals and NCCCO certifications for Tower Crane Operators.
What do I need to be ready to take the tower crane course
Tower crane course is different from our other courses
To meet a high standard of quality and safety, We here at Miller Crane Works have a requirement for each trainee to hold a TSS or TLL Certification. If you do not have this, you will need to take our fixed/swing cab courses
