Our History: Operators Training Operators

How Miller Crane Works Came to Be
Our path from the job site to the training yard.
It started on the job site
Before we trained anyone, our team operated cranes on real projects. That experience shaped the way we teach: practical, safety-first and focused on the load.
Sharing what we knew
Experienced operators saw how much new hands needed more than a test prep class. They needed seat time and someone to explain the why behind each step.
Building a training yard
We built a facility in Seagoville, TX, with the cranes students actually need to learn on — telescopic, lattice crawler and tower — plus a classroom and simulator.
Earning recognition
Miller Crane Works became an NCCCO Accredited Training Provider, earned Texas Workforce Commission approval for its courses and was approved for GI Bill® benefits.
Training and testing today
Today we teach 12 approved courses and host NCCCO practical exams at our Seagoville yard for mobile, lattice and tower cranes.
GraduatesThe Same Standard, Every Class
As the school has grown, one idea has stayed the same: your certification should reflect real operating skill.
That's why we still invest in yard time, load chart work and personal coaching instead of rushing students through a test.
- Real equipment over shortcuts
- Personal coaching from experienced operators
- Honest guidance on the right course
