Two highways, one of them pointed at the yard
Downtown Forney sits on US-80. The south side of the city is already on US-175. From there, westbound US-175 runs into Seagoville without a turn worth naming. About 14 miles, about 20 minutes. If you are starting at the square, go west on US-80 to FM 548 or to Belt Line and drop south, or stay with US-80 until Belt Line and turn. Add a few minutes for that extra leg. Do not aim at the lake. The yard is southwest, not north.
Out the door around 5:05 from south Forney and you make a 5:30 start. The drive home after 9:30 is the same pavement east, usually quieter than the trip in.
Evenings, not a lost week in Kaufman County
This offering is the 40-hour fixed and swing cab mobile crane course. Warren Miller teaches it. You attend Monday to Friday, finish at 9:30 PM, and you are home in Forney the same night. Opening night falls on November 9, 2026. Closing night falls on November 20. NCCCO test fees sit inside the course. For the tuition figure, call (214) 763-0513. We do not print it.
Five names on the roster and the session runs. A shorter list means the next evening start, or a full refund. License, diploma or GED, steel-toed boots. Borrow a hard hat if you do not own one.
Forney people already use this road
US-175 is how a lot of south Forney reaches Dallas. The yard is a short version of that trip, ending at Tunnell Street instead of continuing west. You give up the evening, not the workday.
