New Mexico DVR, for eligible clients
Miller Crane Works is an approved vendor for the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (NM DVR). Eligible clients can ask a DVR counselor about funding crane operator training. The counselor decides. Counselors can call 214-763-0513 for vendor details, course outlines and dates.
The agency's own site is dvr.state.nm.us. A new referral starts at referral.dvr.nm.gov. Our walkthrough for students and counselors is the New Mexico DVR page.
Albuquerque and Bernalillo County
The largest share of our New Mexico calls starts here. Albuquerque has the airport most students use. The town of Bernalillo, up I-25, is a different place from the county.
Santa Fe and the east mountains
Santa Fe adds about an hour on I-25 before the Albuquerque departure. Edgewood is the opposite case: it is already on I-40, east of the Sandias, so the Texas drive starts sooner.
San Juan County
This is the long trip. Farmington, Bloomfield and Shiprock are a US-550 drive south to Albuquerque before the eastbound day even starts. Aztec and Kirtland use the county page.
What every New Mexico student is traveling to
The directory changes by city. The school does not. Classroom work, load charts and seat time all happen at the Seagoville yard. We are an NCCCO Accredited Training Provider, and NCCCO practical exams for mobile, tower and lattice cranes are held on that yard. The course catalog lists every approved course. The location page covers Dallas Love Field, DFW and the drive into Seagoville.
If your New Mexico town is not named above, call 214-763-0513 anyway. We would rather give you the right course than invent another city page. Start dates are on the training schedule.
