I-20 east, or the surface streets on the south side
From the interchange, I-20 east reaches the Seagoville exits in about 11 miles and about 18 minutes. If you are starting on the south side, Wintergreen Road and Cleveland Road get you to the freeway or over to Belt Line. Both end up at the same yard on Tunnell Street. You are not threading Central Expressway or the High Five.
Plan the outbound for just after 5:00. The 9:30 release means the westbound return is the same I-20 segment with the evening rush already gone.
The course, in evening blocks
What you are signing up for is Mobile Crane Operations, Fixed/Swing Cab, 40 hours. Warren Miller teaches the block. Ten evenings: November 9 is the first, November 20 is the last, all in 2026, each one ending at 9:30. You do not pay NCCCO test fees as an extra line. Tuition is a phone conversation at (214) 763-0513.
The floor is five students. Below it, seats roll to the following evening session, or the school refunds you in full. License, diploma or GED, steel-toed boots. A hard hat can be borrowed at the yard.
Close enough to keep the day
Hutchins to Seagoville is a local eastbound hop. The schedule is built so you can still be at work during the day and in the operator's seat after it.
