Across the lake from Rockwall, then south

Rockwall is on the east shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. The long way to this class is west across I-30, and you still come home after 9:30.

The square and the Harbor are already on the west side

Both the downtown square and the Harbor district sit on the west side of Rockwall, which is the side you want. Ridge Road and Goliad Street feed I-30. Cross the lake westbound, then turn south toward Seagoville. From the square, about 30 miles and about 40 minutes. It is a long evening drive. It is still a there-and-back because the class releases at 9:30.

Leave by 4:40. Eastbound across the bridge after class is the return, and it is calmer than the westbound trip at 5:00.

What you are driving over there to do

The session is Mobile Crane Operations, Fixed/Swing Cab, 40 hours, taught by Warren Miller. Nights are Monday through Friday, November 9 to November 20, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. NCCCO test fees are included. Tuition is not shown. Call (214) 763-0513 and ask.

At least five students have to enroll for the class to run. If it falls short, you go to the next evening start or you receive a full refund. A driver's license, a diploma or GED, and steel-toed boots are what to bring. Hard hats can be lent.

East shore, same night

Rockwall is far enough that people assume they would have to stay near the yard. This schedule says otherwise. You cross the lake, you train, you cross back.

Rockwall: hold the seat by form
