Tell us your experience and which certification you want. We recommend a course, not the most expensive one.
Choose a start date
Mobile courses start every Monday. Enroll by Friday 5 PM CT to hold a seat for the coming week.
Enrollment agreement
You sign the TWC enrollment agreement and we sort out payment: VA, WIOA, employer or direct.
Show up Monday
Bring a photo ID and your driver’s license. We will tell you what to wear and what to bring when you enroll.
Requirements
- Age. 18 or older.
- License. A valid driver’s license.
- Education. A high school diploma or GED, plus transcripts for any higher education you have taken.
- Experience. None for the 120-hour and Premium Plus courses. Lattice and tower endorsements require a current NCCCO mobile crane certification.
- NCCCO requirements. Candidates must meet NCCCO’s physical requirements and comply with its substance abuse policy. We go through both with you before you enroll.
The school
Miller Crane Works is an independent training provider on the outskirts of Dallas, Texas, founded in September 2009. Students train on every part of the crane: setup, boom operation and LMI (load moment indicator) systems, not just the seat. Classes are limited to ten students per instructor. Written and practical NCCCO exams are given at our yard.

What are the requirements to enroll?
You must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED, plus transcripts for any higher education you have taken. No crane experience is needed for the beginner courses. NCCCO also requires candidates to meet its physical requirements and comply with its substance abuse policy; we explain both when you enroll.
Is Miller Crane Works a licensed school?

Are classes taught in English or Spanish?
English. Classes, course materials and calls with our staff are in English; no course is taught in Spanish. If you want to take an NCCCO exam in another language, call us before you enroll and we will check what is available for your certification.
Can I visit before I enroll?
Yes. Call ahead and we will show you the yard and the cranes you will train on.
