Purpose
Miller Crane Works is an NCCCO Accredited Training Provider. This impartiality policy explains how we keep our training fair and how we protect the integrity of the NCCCO certification process, including the practical exams hosted at our Seagoville, TX facility.
Who This Policy Covers
This policy applies to everyone involved in our training and testing activities, including owners, instructors and staff, test site personnel and anyone acting on our behalf.
Our Commitments
- Equal opportunity. All candidates have equal access to our training and testing services, regardless of background, experience level or employer.
- Fair assessment. Training evaluations are conducted without favoritism or bias.
- Compliance with NCCCO requirements. Our practices follow NCCCO's policies and requirements for accredited training providers and test sites.
- Conflict-of-interest prevention. We identify and manage potential conflicts between instructors, examiners and candidates.
- Confidentiality. Candidate information and examination materials are kept secure and confidential.
- Continuous improvement. We review this policy and our procedures regularly.
Training and Testing
Training prepares candidates for NCCCO exams, but NCCCO sets and controls its certification exams. Completing a course does not decide the result of a certification exam — each candidate must pass the written and practical exams on their own performance. Learn more about what to expect on exam day.
When NCCCO practical exams are held at our facility, they follow NCCCO procedures. We keep training activities separate from exam administration, as NCCCO requires.
Managing Conflicts of Interest
Staff are expected to disclose any relationship or interest that could affect, or appear to affect, the fairness of training or testing. When a conflict is identified, we take steps to remove or manage it, which may include assigning different personnel.
Confidentiality
We protect candidate records and never share exam content. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
