Who this county page is for
Use this page if you live in Bernalillo County and you do not need the city-specific notes on the Albuquerque page. South Valley, North Valley and Los Ranchos students make the same trip: get to I-40 or to the Sunport, then go to Dallas. The town of Bernalillo, up I-25 in Sandoval County, has a separate page because it is a different place with a similar name.
The county's crane work is varied. Film and event picks are not what we train. We train people who will run mobile cranes, lattice boom cranes or tower cranes, or who will rig and signal. Tell us the crane, not the zip code, when you call.
One yard for the whole county
There is no Miller Crane Works campus in Bernalillo County. The classroom, the simulator and the cranes are at 304 Tunnell St, Seagoville, TX 75159. Students who fly use Albuquerque International Sunport and land at Dallas Love Field or DFW. Students who drive should plan a full day and a place to stay near Seagoville for the length of the course. Hotel notes are on the location page. We do not bundle lodging into DVR funding.
NM DVR for Bernalillo County clients
Miller Crane Works is an approved vendor for the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (NM DVR). County residents who are eligible clients can ask a DVR counselor to consider crane operator training. The counselor decides. We do not approve funding.
