You are already on the Texas route
Edgewood, Moriarty and the east-mountain communities sit on the interstate that runs toward the Texas line. You do not need to go into Santa Fe, and you do not need to cross Albuquerque, to start east. The rest of the drive is still a full day into the Dallas area, and class is still at 304 Tunnell St in Seagoville. Treat the shorter first hour as a convenience, not as a commute you can repeat each morning.
Many Edgewood residents already drive to Albuquerque for work. Crane work they see is often on I-40 commercial sites, schools and utility projects, which points to telescopic mobile cranes. If that is the cab you want, look at the 120-hour or 40-hour fixed/swing cab course and we will help you choose from your experience, not from a brochure.
Flying instead
If you leave the truck at home, Albuquerque International Sunport is the practical airport, west of you over the mountain. Dallas Love Field and DFW are the usual landings. The location page explains the Seagoville end of that trip.
NM DVR for Edgewood clients
Miller Crane Works is an approved vendor for the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (NM DVR). Edgewood clients ask their counselor whether crane operator training can be funded. Eligible clients only, and the counselor decides. We send outlines and dates when the counselor calls. Steps are on the New Mexico DVR page. Reach admissions at 214-763-0513.
From Edgewood, the next page people open is usually Albuquerque. The full list is on the New Mexico crane training hub.
