East of Farmington, same school
Bloomfield is its own town: a main street on US-64, river-valley work, and highway commercial sites, not a suburb we folded into the Farmington page. You will still pass through the Farmington area to reach US-550 if you drive. Read the Farmington page for the airport choice, then add the US-64 leg from home.
Cranes around Bloomfield and the Blanco area are often on energy, pipeline and road jobs, plus the ordinary commercial lifts any town has. People with that background sometimes assume they only need a short refresher. Maybe. We will ask how much time you have actually had at the controls before we suggest the 40-hour course instead of the longer one.
Plan the absence
The yard day is in Seagoville, Texas, at 304 Tunnell St. You should expect to be away from Bloomfield for the full course. Directions from the Dallas airports are on the location page. Start dates are on the training schedule.
NM DVR for Bloomfield clients
Miller Crane Works is an approved vendor for the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (NM DVR). If you are a Bloomfield client, ask your counselor whether crane operator training can be part of the plan. Funding is for eligible clients only. We send the counselor whatever course detail the authorization needs. See the New Mexico DVR page or call 214-763-0513.
From Bloomfield, the next page people open is usually Farmington. The full list is on the New Mexico crane training hub.
