A northern Santa Fe County start
El Rancho is easy to miss on a state map and easy to confuse with other El Ranchos. This page is the Santa Fe County community on the highway north of Santa Fe, not a ranch in Texas. From here you drive south through Santa Fe, continue to Albuquerque, and only then pick up the eastbound route to Dallas. It is a longer first morning than an Edgewood departure. Plan the course as time in Texas, not as a weekly loop.
Lifts around the Pojoaque valley and Española are often smaller commercial and utility jobs. That still points many people to a telescopic mobile crane card. If you already know you will work on crawlers or tower cranes somewhere else, tell us. We teach those in Seagoville too, on separate courses, listed on the course catalog.
Where the seat time happens
The yard is at 304 Tunnell St, Seagoville, TX 75159. Students from El Rancho who fly almost always leave from Albuquerque International Sunport. The what to expect page is the honest picture of a training day: classroom, charts, then time at the controls.
NM DVR for El Rancho clients
Miller Crane Works is an approved vendor for the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (NM DVR). If you are an eligible client in El Rancho, your counselor is the person who can put crane operator training in the plan. We do not make that decision. We do answer the counselor with dates and course details. See the New Mexico DVR page or call 214-763-0513.
From El Rancho, the next page people open is usually Santa Fe. The full list is on the New Mexico crane training hub.
